"They say history is written by the victors..."

The Trinity of Bitches united. The last corporation falls.

    The world is saved.

The waking day after the dream.

No longer the woman in the red dress.

Transcendental. Post-artifice, post-cinematic. Post-humanist. The artificial simulation (of prior) has materialized, paving the way for the viscerally assaultive, archetypal reality of hyper-stimulation (but more so: of ending the reign of capital); each frame representing a superimposition of radical fluidity, meticulousness, and opaqueness - its…

"It's just like a camera. Point and shoot."

One woman. A globe of corporate decay. A soul stripped away.

A state of victims. Bodies to weapons. Identities commodified.

Then a gun. A memory, a feeling. An impulse to save.

    Retribution.

The contents of the past. The fight of the now. The value of the fiction, of the understanding within ourselves. Of deconstructing the cinematic template to an expressively artificial actuality of an unparalleled understanding of compositions, spatiality, and geography…

"You people with guns are all the same!"

Neorealism upon factions of warfare: "anthologies" of disparate narratives and vignettes, captured throughout various regions of one war-stricken nation; some concerned with miscommunication and common humanity, others concerned with loneliness and intimacy - all set against social experiences that derive from factualization; Rossellini's control over his aestheticism vs. narratives combining with newsreels, with a reporting of actuality. Decried by Italians, at the time of its release, partly for being too "anti-fascist." Scratch a centrist and you'll always find an authoritarian.

"They live as if tragedy were natural, not because of strength or faith, but because they are tired."

Nationalized despair and sorrow, documented within the landscapes - one that reinforces fascism, another that reinforces something else; but a child just wants to remain unworried and live... not to endure the "logical" hellscape of a fated death, amid the unfathomable perversities and human shells and unbridled callousness of fascism's instantaneous decay. A boy haunted by a camera; a director with abject pain and loss, trying to make sense of it all.

"You are a product of all who came before you."

How the fuck do you make a film shot by Bill fucking Pope look like fucking garbage.

The phrase "flavor of the week," used to describe the (corporate) anti-artistry and unrelenting soullessness of entities like the MCU, continues to be represented by how all of these fake monstrosities persistently look like the polluted skies of the Industrial Revolution, feel like a black hole, sound like incomprehensible noise, perpetuate cultural…

"That was so intense, I like can’t even with this place."

Three stars for Jack Black as a woman and for Karen Gillan being hot.
