    sila-sila allows you to search through all the ambiguities of modern queer relationships; it's like you are a part of gab's endeavors. abrahan made it possible by allowing the audience to also carry gab's baggages filled with indecisions, regrets, and loneliness.

    when we allow ourselves to carry those baggages with the characters, we truly see the how both reclaiming spaces, retracing connections, and going back 'home' are fully materialized.

    obviously, i did not watch this. i just wanna manifest my frustration over the director who just posted his sentiments over the recent double murder in tarlac, saying “stop the killings! stop police brutality“ but also made this film about the fascist cop turned smartmatic-elected senator bato dela rosa.

    napakahalagang mapanoood ng lahat lalo na’t sa kasalukuyan, karamihan ng mga naninirahan sa luzon ay iginigiit na maganda ang idinudulot ng batas militar ni duterte sa mindanao. ang kakampi ni duterte at ng kanyang reaksyunaryong pwersa ay hindi ang mga katutubong lumad kundi ang mga malalaking dayuhang korporasyon – upang maisakatuparan ang kanilang mga pansariling interes.

    hindi lamang karapatang-pantao ang niyuyurakan ng pasistang rehimen ni duterte, kundi ang edukasyon at pangarap ng mga kabataan. sa kabi-kabilang atake at pamamasista, wala…
