When I saw this at the cinema I knew it was hilarious, but I only just realised how beautiful a story it was, and how hot Sam Rockwell is. Just a reminder of how good films were pre-2020 really. I usually hate war movies but despite very much being a War Movie this isn’t exactly a war movie, plus Stephen Merchant has never been so scary and the colour palette is so Wes Anderson and the soundtrack of german pop covers is beautiful and everything is actually dealt with tactfully I bloody love it comrade
