• L'Eclisse

Beside the idea of emptiness which is Antonioni is the master of showing it visually , in this movie particularly of the trilogy you can see clearly the visual motifs of the prison , people look if they're prisoned in Thier emptiness.

  • La Dolce Vita

    La Dolce Vita

Marcello throughout the movie was between two forces , his past and his present . In the past he was talented but he was poor but in the present he is now meeting the stars of the sky but he lost the innocence and talent . He tries all the time to fit in the bourgeoisie but the truth that they're despising him and making fun of him in every scene like Thier clowns . He is very keen on…

    Prince of the City

I think there's no director like Lumet in portraying the environment of police , he has that effect that every single element fits perfectly with the nature of this universe . With Serpico , Q&A , Night falls on Manhattan and the offence he proved so early that he is the master of this genre. I didn't really like The Performance of Treat Williams I wished he was De Niro or Nicholson but Williams acting was the element that really disappointed me despite that everything was perfect.

In the trilogy of Bergman , In Bresson 's a diary of a country priest & in tarkovsky's The Sacrifice the journey was about finding faith
Here Scorsese's journey about losing faith . I really admired this experience regardless I didn't catch a lot of things during watching but it's ok what really I'd like to say that I was very attached to this film until the last hour I can say I totally missed a lot of things and I lost the connection with the movie but what gave me the support is the acting especially from Pattinson in the ending scenes .

  • 3 Women

    3 Women

This Is a story about one woman
I say yes all the time it was one women but it is the effect of genius linear narration which Altman used to deceive us to think that there are 3 Women . Shelley Duvall is the middle stage , The Mother is the final stage and the girl is the naive first stage , I say clearly they represent the same personality but in different stages and the connection between them is the neglecting of them or " Her " from family first then Relationships then from husbands . It's " Fight Club " but for females .
