    Foreign Film Friday Review:

La Noire De feels more important than feels entertaining. It’s cultural importance is huge, being the first feature from the director regarded as the father of African Film. And yet that doesn’t make anything stand out too much to me, for it’s time this is a story that wouldn’t have been told at all and it gets points for that, but there just isn’t a lot here in the hour run time. This felt similar to when I watched Le Planète Sauvage as it clearly has a unique style but often left me bored throughout.

This was lots of fun to go back to once again and the animation is what makes this so bouncy. These directors are responsible for some of my favorite Disney films of all time, and I haven’t really taken notice of their talent. Robin Williams is terrific! Holds the test of time and still a very enjoyable watch.

Been really busy this past week and haven't had ANY time for film unfortunately. Finally got back from my trip and decided I need Another Day of Sun (it's funny cause my skin is burnt to a crisp rn)

Music is phenomenal, performances are great, and the writing is so charming and well thought out that I'm so invested in what these characters are going through. I lowered this film on rewatch but I think this might have been attributed…
