  The actions Sylvester pursues out of fear is why I enjoyed this short so much.

  I’ve always enjoyed Merrie Melodies and Looney tunes shorts but, for some reason I’ve never came across “Scaredy Cat”.
  Chuck Jones directed, Mel Blanc voicing and the story is simple, it’s about Porky Pig and his cat Sylvester who move into a new house that Porky finds “Charming” and Sylvester finds eerie and is disturbed by it.

  Film 1/45 of 🎃Hooptober5.0🎃

  I wanted my hooptober to primarily be films I’ve never seen before, with that in mind I’ve decided to start hooptober off with a film I’ve seen before. ”Cat People” is a movie i watched for the first time just a few months ago and at the time, I had wanted to watch it again as soon as it ended. This movie is a short, visually striking, eerie adaptation of Val Lewton’s short story The Bagheeta.

  Unfortunately the couple sitting behind me really liked to indulge conversation over dinner plans, so my viewing wasn’t very enjoyable. Thought both leads were really solid and there was some nice similarities with Carol, especially in the directing. Gonna need to see this again especially in the silence of my own home

  Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas 1977

  This was great and really the only thing missing was it wasn’t snowing outside. A Christmas special I somehow never seen, one with Jim Henson at the helm and some great muppets in here. Some solid songs throughout, a perfect special to watch this time of the year.
