Aldo’s review published on Letterboxd:
We always ask ourselves whether we're living or just being alive, if we're even close to the dreams we had. As those dreams fade and fade away, we lose passion in our work and we become self-destructive but we refuse to quit on our work and dreams even if we aren't happy doing it. We grow farther and farther away from our family and friends, we start neglecting everything around us and burying ourself into our work even though we don't like it.
The Coen brother's Inside Llewyn Davis follows a character going through the same things. It's almost tragic to see all the bad decisions he makes and how he'll probably keep doing the same thing over and over with no future in sight. This hit home really well for me especially when your passion is a form of art, I always second-guess my passion and my talent and this really helped with cope and come to terms with those feelings. This movie really connected with me and I think it will connect even more with me as the years come.
