Surya Sai’s review published on Letterboxd:
If satire and comedy are the two main pillars here, The CAST is the basement!
Taiki watiti has always been one of my favourites for comedy/ satires since WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS, making people laugh through words & actions is an extremely gifted talent.
The subtleness in few scenes of this film is AMAZINGLY WRITTEN and woven into the layers of the Cinema! Be it the secret gay feelings of the captian and Finkel, Rebel Wilson's momentory Dialogues etc.!
It deserves more accolades for inducing and showcasing pyschological though process of the devotees of tyrannts!! The dialogues involving the Jews and their culture and humanity were added JEM(w)S to this beautiful ornament of a cinema!
(One thing which I hate about the poster is:)
"WHERE IS YORKIE!?!?!?" That kid Archie Yates deserves a felicitation! 😂❤️
