persuasion is jane’s most underrated novel. i didn’t even own my own copy until this summer. bc it’s shorter than her others, it’s more accessible to people just getting into austen. clearly what it would take for persuasion to get the attention and love it deserves is an amazing adaptation that does it justice ….. right??? lol.
