When threatened with another nuclear disaster, we see the pain and frustration within every generation represented in the governing staff. There's a pride and legacy worth fighting for, but a resignation that the nation may have to start from scratch again.

Godzilla itself proves to be a formidable foe, more looming presence than actual character.
