20th century women is a beautifully shot, subtlety acted and intelligently written film that made me laugh, cry and most importantly think.
I've been a fan of Annette Bening ever since I watched American beauty, I loved Greta Gerwig in Frances Ha and Mistress America, and this is probably the best work I've seen from Elle fanning. Talented women working together in film is always something I look forward to.
A coming of age story about a boy brought up by women, it's a slice of life movie that just gets me feeling some sort of way and I loved it.
