Don’t throw your back out doing woke gymnastics with this one — Jordan Peele wouldn’t want you to either. While this is certainly a Big Ideas movie (and Peele is a perceptive enough writer to inject some clever class commentary without taking all the air out of the madcap madness happening onscreen), it’s meant to be enjoyed as an unorthodox auteur project at its loosest, funnest, and funniest. This makes me a million times more excited for Peele’s Twilight Zone than I already was.
