You get the director of The Incredibles to do a spy movie, not much can go wrong. I was lukewarm on the first three and now I’m fully strapped in!

me watching this in 2007: "what a hypnotically transportive meditation on god, death, and the inexhaustible flame of humanity."

me watching this in 2023: "the sun is quiet quitting lol"

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Fun entry into the expanding Covid movie offerings. The beginning kept you guessing and was slow for me. Once you find out the reason the killer(s) are killing I enjoyed the storyline/movie much more. Some fun kills and a few jump scares that got me!

    Daily Horror Hunt #57 (March 2023) - 1/31
Now go check out the people who have rated your #19. Pick any Letterboxd account that has rated your #19 (We’re All Going to the World’s Fair) 4 stars or higher and watch a horror film that they have rated 2 stars or lower! (I'm skipping ahead)
    Scavenger Hunt #96 - March 2023 2/31
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Either watch a movie about getting very intoxicated/drunk, watch a movie set in Ireland,…

52 Stars of Star Wars! (2023)
    10. Warwick Davis (Wicket)

    Horror x 52 (2023 Edition)
    Film: 17/52
    Prompt: Watch a horror comedy.

The best part of this film is by far the performance of Warwick Davis as the titular Leprechaun. He’s absolutely hilarious in the role and I feel like he is the sole reason the film is as enjoyable as it is.

Overall though, this feels like a rip-off of Child’s Play, even with Ozzie resembling Chucky himself. I’m curious how this franchise will continue, but I look forward to it!

A lil messy but it has been a long time since I laughed this much in a theater. Every person in the supporting cast is truly unbelievable. Somebody sign the legislation that puts Zach Woods and Molly Shannon in every movie.

Seriously one of the most imaginative, dazzling adventures ever told. The awe and excitement that Sheeta and Pazu experience when they first feast their eyes upon Laputa is genuinely one of the most palpable moments in film. Movie magic.

    Austin Gifford

★★½ Watched by Austin Gifford 28 Dec 2022

I laughed a few times and kinda enjoyed watching this because it’s very light. Not all that good but it isn’t bad. No idea why Aubrey Plaza kinda just left the film at a point and never came back. That was a bummer. At least she made out with Alison Brie beforehand though. That was really cool. Decent movie I was sorta entertained

It’s an insanely dumb, gimmicky slasher that takes place around the pandemic starring two hot chicks who run around for 80min screaming. I mean, it knows what it is and I had fun. Wish there was more carnage but I was mildly entertained.
