I'd consider myself a casual Talking Heads fan - I like a lot of their stuff but never got stuck into an album. Nontheless it has taken me a ridiculously long time to watch this. What an incredibly entertaining concert film. David Byrne and co had such infectious energy, its hard not to get wrapped up in the joy and enthusiasm displayed on stage. The opening 20 or so mins as the band join one by one and the stage gets assembled is so good and it's impossible not to want to get up and dance. l also never knew the Tom Tom Club connection before this so that was an awesome surprise. I was a bit annoyed they didn't finish with 'Road To Nowhere' but then I looked it up and saw it hadn't been written yet. So yeah, I guess I'm that kind of fan.
