The Funeral 1984
Just so charming and engaging and so so funny. The scene where they pass the cake between cars and when all the feet fall asleep will be etched in my brain. This is also just such a well-shot movie! Juzo Itami is a badass and is just so cynical I love it. Commercialization got nuthin on his critique!

tick, tick...BOOM! 2021
I’m so sorry, I tried so hard to be a Lin-Manuel Miranda hater but I am physically unable to continue the agenda with this movie. Andrew Garfield and Robin De Jesús have amazing chemistry, the songs aren’t corny, and the film is so energizing as a whole. Also the cameos make it feel fun and revitalize scenes that need it. I would watch this again quickly. Ugh, just fun.

Licorice Pizza 2021
Tons of fun! Definitely a new favorite for PTA. Just so warm and full of love. I could’ve stayed here forever. The Let Me Roll It needle drop was peak and Cooper Hoffman ran the equivalent of a 5K in this movie. Supporting cast was unbeatable and Alana Haim deserves whatever award nominations she may get.
