    A biting satire on race relations, capitalism and neoliberalism. As a film, there are many socio-historical references and self-references that it remains a rich film every time it is viewed. There is a lot to unpack with regard to intra-racial, inter-racial and self-reflective discourses that support or resist oppressive systems.

    A fun science fiction mix of Groundhog Day and alien movies. Cruise plays a military man in charge of the media department who suddenly finds himself labeled a traitor and sent to the front lines of the war against an alien invasion. Good humor and action throughout the film with provocative questions about identity, time and free will.

    Like most of the movies, it rises just high enough to entertain. It is a fun ending to the series. I think some become bitter because Marvel movies always under-perform to their potential, but many, as I have, just enjoy the entertainment value.
