Aight last review for now since my only other 5 isn't on the site yet.
Death note is the best psychological thriller I have ever seen. It's two geniuses fighting to take down one another and the mindgames are seriously next level. L is probably my favorite character ever. That's right I said character. Any piece of media, be it, books, television, movies: L is my favorite character hands down. This was the second anime I watched, and I feel like it's a great way to start off watching anime if you've never seen one before. Seriously this is a warning: if you get through episode 2 you will never want to stop watching it. Cliffhanger after cliffhanger it's brutal.
The reason why I can't give it a 5/5 is because the third arc is weak for reasons I can't discuss in a spoiler free review. Other than that the show is a perfect 100/100 for me without the third arc.
LIGHT AND L EVEN PLAY A TENNIS MATCH IT'S SO HYPE.
Planning to do my third watch soon. You need to see this if you like psychological thrillers. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't.
