Adam Johnson’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Let's - let's just sit with what we heard." ~ Marion MacPherson, Lady Bird
As a study in building tension up to a climax that explodes, it's impeccable.
As a meaningful story with interesting characters, humor, and engaging twists and surprises, it's superlative.
As a film with an excellent score and just the most beautiful cinematography I've seen in a while this year, Bong Joon Ho and his team didn't have to go that hard but they did.
It didn't personally impact me like other films this year, but it's an exemplary piece of cinema that would be criminal to ignore.
