    It’s alright. It’s an alright movie. Always prefer films on a re-watch, which I’m doing on Saturday - so we’ll see what I think then…

    I think the most interesting thing is - I never once went “oh, I’m loving this”… not for a second. I was just like “yeah, it’s pretty good” all the way through…

    I guess I’ll have proper thoughts on Saturday… I’m just having that weird feeling I sometimes get where - I‘ve come home, it’s been a few hours, I’ve thought about the movie… and all that’s going through my head is “was that it?”

    S.O.U.L Fest Preview Screening

    Rating almost definitely gonna change. My expectations for Candyman were pretty high. While I wasn’t as big a fan of the original Candyman, like some people - I was still excited for this Candyman reboot / remake / sequel - whatever the hell you wanna call it. Nia DaCosta nails it and bought such a fresh exciting take on the story, and made me actually like Tony Todd’s Candyman killer. Can’t delve too much into it…
