  in 2020 (pre-covid) I went to a test screening of Top Gun: Maverick where the entire third act was super unfinished and all the non-practical action had PS1-level VFX. I was still thoroughly enthralled and impressed due to the strength of the rest of the film, and loved it entirely when seeing the completed picture last year.

  this entire, supposedly finished, movie looks like the rough cut of Maverick I saw, without any other redeeming qualities to make up for it. Just hilariously unfinished and gross. I genuinely can’t believe this was released to the public. At a certain point it just became funny.

  this shit is my coco melon and reverts me back to my most primitive state every time I watch it. I almost went apeshit when he put on the suit. 

  a religious experience in IMAX; one of the best of all time.
