Enjoyed the film, but honestly thought the villain’s motivations were um….dumb, especially with the main characters reasoning for who they target. The thing I did like was that Jill’s trauma from RE5 and I assume the other games was set in center stage. Though I wish it would have delved deeper. I also wish maybe an older character, like Carlos Oliveira would have been added to the film to round out the cast and give the film a character who hasn’t been in much of the RE games and films. Also, I mean, Carlos’ voice actor also could have used a check.

Unhuman 2022
Brianne Tju has been in the Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer tv series and honestly got gypped, because she was one of the strongest actresses in both. So to my delight, Unhuman came out and I bought it, not caring if it was amazing or not. And I was surprised at how fun and great it was. She was made to be a strong protagonist and this film was pretty unique and had a decent plot. Not my favorite movie, but a pretty good time. Pretty gross though, just to let you know.

The World of Kanako 2014
This is the one film I’ve seen that I call fu€k£d up. I’m not going to spoil it, but I will say tigger warnings for s£xu@l @$$ul+ (in more ways than one) and unlikable characters (trust me, you need this warning). But I love the direction for how it was filmed (due to the fact the director is a music video director, giving great aesthetics in many colorful scenes) and a pretty good soundtrack. Definitely a good watch if you want a messed up story.
