A movie discussed in Willow Maclay's Female Filmmaker Project

I must admit I've never had any intention of watching this film. The title had been mentioned here and there, but I had no idea on its plot or anything except it starred Madonna.
Going in with no expectations was a good move I think, because this was a fun, yet forgettable, 100 minutes.
There were some moments that stood out but overall this is exactly…

A film you've definitely seen before but remember nothing about

I saw this as a kid, didn't remember very much about it except that I was half-certain my life was constantly under surveillance and a TV Show with millions of viewers.

    A parody film

Dance Flick is stupid but that is exactly what you expect and it delivers on that and I chuckled a fair bit. Amy Sedaris parodying Bring It On / Step Up was actually great.

Not my favourite Wayans Bros parody, but it wasn't as shit as I had been led to believe.

Also the dancing in this is still better than Save the Last Dance in its entirety by a long shot, change my mind.
