Adu’s review published on Letterboxd:
There Will Be Blood is an American classic and remains Anderson’s finest movie to date as far as I’m concerned. The haunting score and vivid cinematography magnify the dark story of a man driven by greed; a ferocious performance from Daniel Day Lewis.
The underlying metaphors of capitalism & gluttony are striking and the movie holds the viewer as we delve deeper into the mind of this self-absorbed behemoth and head towards a dark conclusion.
Overall, There Will Be Blood is an unforgettable masterpiece.
