So okay this was amazing. First, I got to watch this in a theater! For one of my class’s optional cine club, my prof said to us that if we would go to cinema club for any meeting, this would be the one because it has to be viewed on a big screen. While I’m not sure this is the most important of all of the ones we’ve screened this semester, I definitely agree that the work the crew did…
This is very, very long, but I would love it if someone would leave their thoughts about the part I have in brackets because I really don't know what to think and I rely on other's opinions to dictate--
I was excited to be able to end this movie and clown the fuck out of it and now I feel disappointed in myself because I actually liked it.
I watched this while lying down on my side and my laptop…
A lot has happened since the last time i watched this.
I had a session where my therapist was trying to remove strong emotion from certain memories I had. When she asked me to access them, she told me to close my eyes and imagine looking through my past like sitting on a train and watching trees go by. I‘m sure there was some real psychology concept behind that scene in the film, but I didn’t know that before.
