The animation is still pretty awesome considering this is 60 years old. Good story and soundtrack too. Loved the dragon. Darker and more violent than I thought it would be.

I've never played the games (Although I probably should do that), so I can't say if this is a good adaptation or not. I definitely enjoyed it a lot tho, beautiful movie imo.

Yeah this was pretty bad.

Definitely a Ghibli ripoff, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The sexual harassment tho? Just happens without ever being mentioned or discussed again, without any consequences? Yeah maybe not the best message for a children's movie. I have to admit tho, I might have not been paying full attention (the story wasn't that intriguing) the entire time, so maybe I just missed it.

Beautiful animation & soundtrack, undeniable Ghibli vibes (At least during the first 2 stories). Not surprising considering some Ghibli veterans were working on this anthology film. The first episode felt like a combination of Arrietty & Ponyo. The second episode was probably my favourite. Too relatable. The soundtrack in the 3rd episode went fucking hard. Sad we didn't get to see Isao Takahata's episode. RIP.
