This is how you do a horror film on a budget. Not that I know the budget for this (1 million?! Wtf), but honestly, simple enough concept. Unnerving. Stressful. The worst kind of will they won't they. Nothing really super unique per say compared to all the wild horror films now, but a really enjoyable watch.

    Those damn beans!

The Secret World of Arrietty is an enchanting, sentimental tale about the (seemingly) last remaining "Borrowers" and their relationship with humans (beans). Its wholesome in design (the size comparison and resourcefulness of real world objects and how they're used in the day-to-day life of a borrower is cutesy and delightful) although juxtaposed by a harrowing plot, as being the last few of their kind, they must do what they can to survive by stealing meager quantities of supplies from the humans they live with.

I enjoyed this a lot, a simple, immersive whimsical story that will warm your heart ❤

OTGW is a charming, fantastical adventure between two brothers travelling to visit Adelaide and to discover purpose and meaning along the way; might it be a place where music is always playing, love is in the air and unlikely friendships form.

If you're looking for a quaint and wholesome film to cozy up to this fall, look no further!
