It is hard to imagine a film being perfect in so many ways but that is exactly what we have here. The cinematography that makes you feel both close and segregated. How such a simple score can manage to evoke so much emotion. The tension between the two main characters whenever they are in the same room together and how they deal with it once they are apart. Mrs. Chan's wardrobe. Tony Leung's effortless cool. How not a single frame is wasted, every shot has something to show or say and the film does not overstay its welcome.
All in all a wonderful film that everyone should see.
