Chris Higgins isn't the best final girl, just because of that awful backstory they give her (how did Steve Miner get worse with the following sequel?) but she has the best final girl battle of any. She actually fights back against Jason, who has lost all his clumsy, jittery prowess and become the indestructible killer we know and love. 

But, this sequel is padded, the characters are kinda blah - and yeah, that backstory just sinks this one, and I am more a sack head Jason man than the hockey mask.
