It’s December 30th and there’s less than forty-eight hours left before this not-so-pleasant year ends. The sky is cloudy and a little bit gloomy–an indication that rain might occur in the next couple of hours. I’ve watched this film at four in the afternoon and it’s now eight at night; it’s now dark, it didn’t rain, but the wind persisted, and the remnants of the apple I was eating during the film is now brown. Since it’s the last day of 2020, I’ve been thinking of one film that will complete my year. I’ve thought that maybe rewatching Hamilton (2020) for the nth time would do it or The Shawshank Redemption (1994) to give me an inspiration for the next year to come, but instead I chose Minari (2020). Going to a safari tour? Here’s a list of essentials you need to bring to remain safe:
1. First-aid kit
2. Water, but in the smallest bottle possible so if something goes wrong you’ll die of dehydration
3. Kanken backpack
4. Bottle of vodka in case you need to sterilize wounds
5. Film camera
6. Application form to become a member of a lion’s pride in case a big ass lion attacks you
7. Idris Elba because he can tank a lion attack for you

I can’t feel bad about EP for hiring a literal stranger as his manager. That’s on him. Biopics like this makes me realize how shitty everyone in the Hollywood is and you can’t trust no one. I don’t really pity artists who get conned by their managers because they have the money to investigate literally every person they know but they chose to trust them instead…
