It’s December 30th and there’s less than forty-eight hours left before this not-so-pleasant year ends. The sky is cloudy and a little bit gloomy–an indication that rain might occur in the next couple of hours. I’ve watched this film at four in the afternoon and it’s now eight at night; it’s now dark, it didn’t rain, but the wind persisted, and the remnants of the apple I was eating during the film is now brown. I stood up and contemplated,…

Since it’s the last day of 2020, I’ve been thinking of one film that will complete my year. I’ve thought that maybe rewatching Hamilton (2020) for the nth time would do it or The Shawshank Redemption (1994) to give me an inspiration for the next year to come, but instead I chose Minari (2020). The way all the theater decorum left my body after Taylor challenged me the bridge of Cruel Summer. The crowd was WILD I love it so much.

After Long Live played, I can’t help but be sad that I won’t get to experience this concert live but the fact that I get to at least witness this concert film in theaters and sing along with my fellow Filipino Swifties is nothing short of cathartic.

Let this be a reminder not to watch any horror film recommended by TikTokers ever again. The only scary thing about this film is the realization that you’ll never get back the 85 minutes you spent watching this garbage once you’ve finished it.

Not Tom Hanks gaslighting me on big screen that I killed Elvis Presley… God damn.

I can’t feel bad about EP for hiring a literal stranger as his manager. That’s on him. Biopics like this makes me realize how shitty everyone in the Hollywood is and you can’t trust no one. I don’t really pity artists who get conned by their managers because they have the money to investigate literally every person they know but they chose to trust them instead…
