Letterboxd — Your life in film

The visuals in this film were fascinating but acting was unbelievably terrible

I’m disappointed in myself for not giving this a second watch earlier. I truthfully enjoyed it more on the small screen, yeah I don’t get the full blast of bass from the ‘Atreides’ chants but I was able to catch some important parts that I missed in theatres. I was a fan of how they really demonstrated the power of the Bene Gesserit with Lady Jessica and her use of ‘The Voice’. Pumped for the nitty gritty to really go down in part 2

This film definitely put me through the wringer with emotions. The storyline of each chapter, the violence, and the background imagery of Medieval-era life captured my attention from the very beginning. A very good watch that’s not for the faint-hearted.

Most underwhelming Bond movie ever.

The end scene in the diner broke that 4 star barrier for me. Overall great watch.

Honestly, good for Calvin

Being already familiar with Eric Andre, I already knew this movie was gonna be outlandish but it exceeded that. Eric Andre is a NUT CASE and a damn comedic genius. Additionally, Tiffany Haddish was actually funny and that’s a rarity for me to say.

The entire prequel trilogy for Planet of the Apes is near flawless

The black goat coming back for vengeance on the father at the end was the character development I didn’t know I needed

Re-watched this today after last seeing it when it premiered in theatres(centuries ago) and had to bump up my rating for it a little. Plot blended together so well and it seamlessly escalated from calm  and hopeful scenes to gory and graphic ones.

I will shun my friends and family for not putting me onto this movie earlier in life. Some very funny stuff.

I came into this movie with some doubts on it being good and turns out my suspicions were correct. Not a good movie at all
