We're all a part of a story. The way we interact with others, the bonds we create and the world we inhabit is all influenced by something. Whether it's God, culture or maybe even a mix of the two.

The funny thing about stories though is that despite our desire to constantly entertain ourselves with them, we can never fully predict what ours will be. For all the highs and lows we face, the end destination isn't known. Those who…

    THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER

Two weeks before the release of Guardians of The Galaxy in 2014, my dog died. He was 14 and was with me for as long as I could remember. One day, he was gone. The house felt strange without him in it. I was feeling awful and lost. I saw the first film on the day of release and a few days before I went on a vacation to Cancun. For those two hours, all…

A nailbitingly tense thriller that views one's life crashing down in the system of a toxic political field. We show anger, frustration and yet speaking out against the wrongs only leads to more pain. Sydney Sweeney is incredible but what also shines here is the direction of Tina Satter. The way information in every turn is redacted right in front of us. It's a film where we're a fly on the wall but our vision is ultimately blurred.

An incredibly quiet but devastating drama that views the black holes within memories and grief. The crippling knowledge that memories are things we cherish and we only find out we didn't take full advantage of those moments until it was too late.

I am autistic. I was diagnosed around the age of 4 after months & months of schools & nurseries telling my parents I was a problematic child. When I went into nursery it was a new environment where I felt alone, abandoned. Everything felt so tall and oppressive and yet I was small, a speck that felt everything closing in around me. I cried, tore things apart and was out of control but the truth was I didn't mean to be. My…

A dreadful exercise in cinematic universe expansion and the pursuit for the audience reaction. Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness is a film that is trapped within the confines of the wider MCU and any attempts it makes to escape feels desperate and downright depressing to watch.

There's some immensely cool stuff here but the sheer incoherent nature of the story and breakneck pacing downright rips out any emotion the story could ever really go for. Nothing here feels…
