Aaron Murray’s review published on Letterboxd:
Game Change might feel a little pedestrian in it's direction from Jay Roach but Julianne Moore, Ed Harris & Woody Harrelson give such solid performances that I found it tough to not be enjoying my time with it. Equal parts funny & utterly embarrassing, it tackles the fiasco that was Sarah Palin's run as vice president pretty damn well thanks to the controlled writing and pacing of the film. Running at almost 2 hours, it definitely flew by.
I have a sort of bias for campaign trail films so there was almost no doubt that Game Change would be a win for me. This might be a decent watch for peeps before the shitshow that's most likely gonna be the 2020 election too 👀
