It's great how despite having such a unique style, the Coens are completely unafraid to stray away from that and offer completely different and risky films. Inside Llewyn Davis is still very much a production from those directors but it's also a different & beautiful beast of a film about a man coping with endless disappointment & an aimless quest to create a path for himself after the loss of a partner. It's pretty damn funny but equally soul crushing thanks to Oscar Isaac's beautiful performance. Llewyn Davis is an asshole but he's also a human being that's endlessly engaging to watch. The supporting cast are also pretty great with the film almost feeling like a series of engaging vignettes that helped the film move incredibly smoothly.
This is easily one of the best productions from the Coens and one that should absolutely be seen. Stream Please Mr Kennedy 😌
