This was the movie I was anticipating the most this year other than Infinity War and by god did it live up to my expectations.
Suspiria as everyone knows is a remake of the 1977 cult classic by the same name. However if I may say this is a very different movie. I won’t get in to detail as I don’t want to spoil but the movie is probably the most memorable experience I’ve had in a movie theater this year, again other than infinity war.
Luca’s direction is probably better than ever before and that says something because I thought he couldn’t top Call Me By Your Name.
Also Tilda Swindon, And Dakota Johnson are nothing short of great in this, but frankly everyone is.
I won’t say much about the story as I know it’ll take multiple viewings for me to understand it and I will definitely watch it again in theaters. For now all I can say is be ready.
Lastly if you haven’t watched the original then I’d say watch it and read up on what it means and how it was made, because it’ll give you a better outlook on this one.
