Cats

Cats

Not only has Tom Hooper found a repeat of Les Mis, a vacuous spectacle of poorly framed, incomprehensible choreography and emotional blugeoning, but in Cats he's managed to find a work that also contains literally no underlying thematic rationale for its existence. It's also bluntly unsuitable for children as the cats pant and arch themselves in hyper-sexualised need for each other.
Grotesque and wildly, wildly, mindnumbingly dull.
