Absolute pure cinema. God-tier sound design by Lynch. You just know you're at the right film when there are multiple WTF's coming from the audience.
It's the most unfiltered and unhinged Lynchian Lynch that ever Lynched and I love it! Laura Dern proves she is the one true GOAT.
Can't wait to get the Criterion of this and watch it over and over.

Truly, for some men nothing is written unless THEY write it.

My second time seeing this perfection of cinema. I definitely appreciate the second half even more now. Getting to see this in 70mm with Denis Villeneuve sitting a few rows behind me? Certainly a cinematic experience that can’t be topped. It’s all downhill from here.

The music kicked so much ass in this. John Waters can do no wrong even with a PG rating.

I wish Divine was my mom, man. What an amazing person.

And hey, I would definitely be down to get adopted by a Japanese family, just saying…

Everything I was hoping it would be. Just a wild and crazy ride; pure fun from start to finish. I can definitely see this becoming a go-to comfort rewatch for me.

When I saw that this would be leaving
The Criterion Channel this month, I knew I could leave this on my watchlist no longer. It’s a runtime you couldn’t blame anyone being apprehensive about, but let me tell you I’m so damn glad I finally bit the bullet.

This was incredible, full stop. Like with Drive My Car and Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy, I was completely transfixed and engrossed the entire film and could barely feel the runtime. I absolutely love…
