Less than ninety minutes, mostly consisting of close ups and medium shots of a man at a desk, and somehow a tense experience that can compete with action thrillers. It's a brisk ride filled with ups and downs you can't miss. I didn't enjoy Locke (another film with a similar confined space style) very much but The Guilty hit all the right spots for me.

Apollo 13 1995
Apollo 13 is prime "movie day in science class" material. The narrator from Arrested Development directed a pretty good film. I'll be honest I checked my watch a few times cause it does run for a little too long. Well for me at least. Rush is still my favorite from Ron Howard so far but this is still solid.

The Dark Knight 2008
Didn't expect to celebrate my 20th birthday this way but hey I'm not complaining. It's the best movie ever made and you can't change my stance on it.

Whiplash 2014
I've been watching some real bangers recently. Apart from J.K Simmon's haunting and incredible performance I knew nothing going in and I'm glad! Everyone here is SO good and every single scene is electrifying and intense. I loved every minute! Did I mention J.K Simmons is incredible in this?
