  i wish they had done less of the Blumhouse Style 2010s Ghost Horror Movie Gimmicks TM but all the acting performances were phenomenal. ethan hawke gave me an earth-shattering ick, and all the kids were immediately endearing. I wish they'd let it be more meditative and less jumpy, but other than that I was thoroughly spooked.
