Alex Kolpan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Besides having a tight grasp over filmmaking and the moviegoing experience as a meta-contextual artifact of life, Peele does something that’s at the heart of all good movies. He allows the viewer to go into the childhood dream of flying off into the sky, while maintaining the nightmarish reality that you may never come back. If movies allow us into the dark rooms of our souls, as Bergman once said, Peele has crafted, above anything else, an intensely engaging summer spectacle to coincide with the embodiment of that statement.
