American Honey transcends measure and form. It's life. A slice of Americana dissecting the youth, their relationships and their respective locales. The most kinetic and fresh film I've seen in years. Andrea Arnold's techniques are so different, almost like Malick in a way. Beautiful close-ups, bugs, water, well you name it. Her style has a feeling of promptness that is uncompromising. American Honey is a road trip movie for the ages.
