Alex Engquist’s review published on Letterboxd:
No one working in Hollywood besides Shyamalan is making such thoughtful decisions about what to show and what not to show and where the place the camera and how to move it. That he's as invested in revealing the emotional lives of his characters and exploring the parameters of his premise just makes the form all the more impressive. He delivers shots and images that are designed to linger in the mind like dreams or nightmares, a true visual storyteller with thematically rich ideas. We're lucky to have him.
