This is the avengers endgame of the Adam Curtis cinematic universe.

What happens when the invidualism of the trap and century of self meet the technocrats of all watched over by machines of love and grace in the unreal media world created by the politicians of hypernormalization. They create a broken system designed to only stabilize and never get better.

This movie is like someone was serving you a new dish they cooked. But they just picked their top 3 flavours and didn't think how they went together. The chocolate of a surface level dating satire, the onions of a movie about holding onto trauma, and the dank blue cheese of a rape revenge movie mix together in a weird taste. Any one of those things I would have really enjoyed by themselves but all together it feels gross. Maybe that was the point to make that clashing feel gross?

You can accuse this movie of many things but you certainly can't call it boring.

Someone saw that in the script and was like "100 million dollars for this
