I had my doubts going into this...but after the sweeping, invigorating euphoria of those first several minutes, I knew I'd just been swayed into the galaxy far, far away once again.
If cranking out Rogue Ones between these episodes goes towards keeping them at such a feat of quality like this, I'm fine with that.
Not sure how I feel about some things that happened towards the end as well as some of the comic relief, although the execution by Rian Johnson altogether was an absolute spectacle; some of the images and sounds in this film are spellbinding.
More thoughts to come since I'm gonna see this at least once more in theaters, but this is indeed one of the great Star Wars movies.
