Midsommar ★★★★

ari aster has cemented himself as a very imaginative, lowkey cruel, but wildly talented director and while I’m excited for what he does next and was impressed by a lot of this film, it starts to lose me in the last thirty or so minutes. that being said, florence pough and jack reynor are outstanding and some of the camerawork is beyond mind blowing. i’m kinda shocked as to how some of this shit was allowed to be shown but god damn it’s certainly a one of a kind horror film.
