"i like things that look like mistakes"
this is a beautiful film, a spontaneous one. it felt from the start to the end like a real slice of the life of frances as if before the frame began she existed and after the credits she continues to exist. greta gerwig does an amazing job of bringing frances and all her dimensions to life - she is a fascinating, awkward, lost and lovable creature. the film flitters between the hope and aimlessness of an extended adolescence. it is painfully relatable at times. i have so many kind words for this film.
