In stark black and white, this rough indie film follows Donya (Anaita Wali Zada), an Afghan immigrant in Northern California. 

I don’t know if it’s good or bad that a group of seemingly high people in their twenties were in the theater and made it seem like a comedy. Was kind of annoying, in fact.
