here is my professional review: not gay enough
so... despite that viral scene showing Lenin's mausoleum in the Red Square in 1905 (Lenin died in 1924), there are others historical inaccuracies such as:
- Ivan Kalyayev didn't die by gunshot as shown, but hanged
- they have put Khor Virap (an armenian monastery) instead of the St. Nicholas monastery used by Rasputin
- they called Duma an elected "government" instead of elected legislature
i'd say that it's unbelievable that a production like this didn't have a historian…
Tbh, I think is very dangerous, when making a biopic about serial killers, leaving the narrative on the loose, romanticizing the events, placing the criminal as a victim and making the viewers sympathized and buy that narrative.
Despite the intent to address the point of view of women around Ted Bundy, the film fails miserably by forgetting that perspective in the script, like giving full screen time to Ted rather than Liz, and not having any focus from where he…
