"I'm feelin' a little woozy here!"

Ever since I saw Scream for the first time at ten years old, I've been dreaming of the chance to see this (most especially that Drew Barrymore opening scene) on the big screen.
That dream finally came true for its 25th anniversary screening and seeing Wes' OG meta-slasher (though I might argue his New Nightmare is truly the first of its kind from the 90's) on the biggest screen possible made the film come alive again for me in a way it really hasn't since watching it for that very first time as wide-eyed, terrified kid.
While this film always opens up our Halloween viewing each September/October, we waited a little bit into our viewing to get the series going as this was such a special occasion. What a hell of a way to celebrate its anniversary and Halloween season all at the same time!
And long live Sidney, The Greatest Final Girl of Them All.
