i missed ari’s masterclass cinematography so MUCH. this follows an intriguingly similar theme as hereditary, exploring grief, mental illness, the effects of illicit substances, and dangerous cult behavior. in my opinion it lacks the originality that his first film gave us, but it’s still fun.
