Vinod Shankar’s review published on Letterboxd:
As much as I find this massively entertaining, meticulously beautiful, impeccably written, uniquely spirited, and just a darn good time, I can never quite get it to the level of my favorite Wes Anderson movies. I think what it doesn't do is move me, not in the way that his best films do.
I also get the sense in a lot of ways too that this is the Anderson movie that people who don't like Anderson do like. And while I shouldn't hold that against it at all, I think I kind of do.
